  • Comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) laws and regulations.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve and personalize the platform experience.

We will never use your data for purposes incompatible with those stated above without first obtaining your explicit consent.

03

We share information only where strictly necessary, and only with the following categories of trusted parties:

Security Measures

Protecting your data is a core responsibility we take seriously. We implement multiple layers of security to keep your information safe:

  • 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and our servers.
  • Advanced firewalls and intrusion detection systems to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) available on all accounts.
  • Regular third-party penetration testing and security audits.
  • Strict internal access controls — only authorized personnel can access sensitive data.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we use industry best practices, we encourage all users to: protect their login credentials, use strong unique passwords, and enable MFA on their accounts.

If you suspect a security breach affecting your account, please contact us immediately at support@atlasremit.com.

06

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including meeting legal, regulatory, and reporting requirements.

For financial services, applicable regulations typically require us to retain transaction records and identity documents for a minimum of 5 years following the end of a business relationship. After this period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

If you close your account, we will cease active use of your data but may retain certain records as required by law, after which they will be permanently destroyed.
