By accessing or using the Atlas Remit platform — including our website, mobile applications, and any related services — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Atlas Remit Inc.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of our services immediately. Your continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of any future updates to these Terms.

To create an account and use Atlas Remit services, you must meet the following criteria:

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must be a resident of a country in which Atlas Remit services are available.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Atlas Remit reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate any account at our sole discretion if we have reason to believe eligibility requirements have not been met.

You agree not to use the Atlas Remit platform for any purpose that is unlawful, harmful, or otherwise prohibited by these Terms. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Money laundering or the financing of terrorism.
• Fraudulent transactions, identity theft, or impersonation.
• The purchase, sale, or transfer of prohibited or illegal goods and services.
• Circumventing or attempting to circumvent our security or compliance controls.
• Using automated tools or bots to access or misuse the platform.
• Engaging in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

We reserve the right to immediately suspend any account suspected of engaging in prohibited activities and to report such activity to the appropriate authorities.

Once a transaction has been authorized and processed through the Atlas Remit platform, it cannot be reversed. This policy is in place to maintain the integrity and security of our payment infrastructure.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all recipient details — including account numbers, names, and destination countries — are accurate before confirming any payment. Atlas Remit will not be liable for losses arising from transactions sent to incorrect recipients due to user error.

In exceptional circumstances (such as verified fraud), Atlas Remit may, at its sole discretion, attempt to recover funds, but makes no guarantee of success. All recovery requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the transaction.

Atlas Remit provides its services on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for 100% uptime and service reliability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Atlas Remit shall not be liable for:

• Any loss of funds arising from temporary service interruptions.
• Delays caused by third-party banking systems or correspondent networks.
• Losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to safeguard your credentials.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of our services shall not exceed the value of the transaction(s) directly involved in the claim.

Atlas Remit reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your agreement to those changes. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our services before the changes take effect.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
